A sweet and salty Highland whisky from the popular Old Pulteney Distillery in the coastal town of Wick. This 12 year old expression, released in 2018, has been aged in ex-bourbon casks and left to mature in their warehouse by the sea. The resulting dram has lovely notes of honey, cream and subtle spice, coupled with a briny maritime character brought about by the sea air. This is Old Pulteney’s flagship bottling and an award-winning one at that. Truly delicious stuff.
