Produced by Dan Auerbach, the album is infused with themes of resilience, and Muq's spontaneous, reflective songwriting captures the essence of his cross-continental life. Clancy marks Twenty One Pilots’ first studio album in three years and follows their RIAA Gold certified LP, Scaled And Icy. With details of the release teased to fans earlier this month via cryptic mailings and covert artswaps on streaming services, “Overcompensate” welcomes listeners back to the band’s immersive world of ‘Trench.’ Layers of synths build over a racing breakbeat in the song - a skilled passage of alternative dynamics, flexing in time, and ready to explode. Having amassed over 33 billion streams worldwide and over 3 million tickets sold across global headline tours, the Columbus, OH based duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have established themselves as one of the most successful bands of the 21st century and redefined the sound of a generation. Co-produced by Joseph and Paul Meany, Clancy marks the final chapter in an ambitious multi-album narrative first introduced in the band's 2015 multi-Platinum breakthrough, Blurryface. Furthermore, Clancy’s forthcoming release on May 17th coincides with the 9th anniversary of Blurryface, which was released exactly nine years prior to the day. Twenty One Pilots extended the ambitious concept laid out in Blurryface with their 2018 Platinum-certified album TRENCH. Featuring the multi-Platinum and Platinum singles “Chlorine,” “My Blood” and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated “Jumpsuit,” the album graced spots on “Best of” year-end lists by Billboard, KERRANG!, Alternative Press, and Rock Sound—who placed it at #1.
Timeless. Explosive. Romantic. Inspiring. How else to characterize Blue Electric Light, Lenny Kravitz’s 12th studio album? Kravitz’s mastery of deep-soul rock ‘n roll is a long-established fact. As a relentless creative force—musician, writer, producer, actor, author, designer—he continues to be a global dynamic presence throughout music, art and culture. Blue Electric Light is an impassioned suite of songs, that broadens this distinction and is the latest contribution of a man whose music—not to mention his singular style—continues to inspire millions the world over. On the album, Kravitz's talents as a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist resonate as he wrote and played most of the instruments himself, with longtime guitarist Craig Ross. Lenny Kravitz has won four GRAMMY® Awards and sold 40 million worldwide. He was recently recognized by the CFDA with their “Fashion Icon Award” and was also selected as a 2023 Hollywood Walk of Fame inductee.
Billie Eilish’s third studio album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT", released via Darkroom/Interscope Records is her most daring body of work to date, a diverse yet cohesive collection of songs— ideally listened to in its entirety from beginning to end—does exactly as the album title suggests; hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way. With the help of her brother and sole collaborator, FINNEAS, the pair wrote, recorded, and produced the album together in their hometown of Los Angeles. This album comes on the heels of her two massively successful albums “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO?" and "Happier Than Ever" and works to further develop the world of Billie Eilish.
Miami-formed and long-time Nashville-based, genre-bending Americana icons The Mavericks return with their highly anticipated 13th studio album 'Moon & Stars.' The record marks their first new music release since 2020’s groundbreaking and chart-topping 'En Español' project and their first return to a full English language release since their acclaimed 'Brand New Day' album in 2017.
“This record has been a journey of reflection, introspection, patience, learning and evolving. Some of these songs were written years ago, but they weren’t ready. Or maybe we weren’t. We are now," the band says.
Already known for their distinctive and eclectic Americana/roots fusion of alternative & outlaw country, rock, blues, R&B and Tejano/Tex-Mex influences, The Mavericks quite appropriately recorded the tracks of 'Moon & Stars' across the country in Blackbird Studio (Nashville, Tennessee), Frogville Studios (Santa Fe, New Mexico), and Dockside Studio (Maurice, Louisiana). The result is a long-awaited album that instantly invokes both a timeless feel of a classic Mavericks release that will fit seamlessly among their most revered career work, while once again challenging genre conventions and pushing the boundaries of their melting pot sound ever forward.
Special featured guests on the album include Sierra Ferrell, Maggie Rose, Nicole Atkins, and the band’s own ‘Fantastic Five’ member Max Abrams. Song co-writers include Bernie Taupin, Sam Hollander, Wally Wilson, and more
Neon Pill is the highly anticipated new album from Cage The Elephant, and group’s first new music since their album, Social Cues, which won Best Rock album at the 2019 GRAMMY Awards.
Cage The Elephant consists of brothers Matt Shultz (vocals) and Brad Shultz (rhythm guitar) along with Daniel Tichenor (bass), Jared Champion (drums), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar) and Matthan Minster (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals).
The Avett Brothers return with their first album in five years. Produced by longtime collaborator, friend and early champion Rick Rubin, The Avett Brothers is as much untitled as it is self-titled, for as Thomas Keating said: “Silence is God’s first language – everything else is a poor translation.”
From the album’s all-vocal opening to the sharp, scrappy and scorching rock n roll blast of lead single “Love Of A Girl,” to the novel strains of folk, roots, synth and strings that have landed The Avett Brothers numerous Billboard Top 5 and chart-topping albums, three GRAMMY nominations, five Americana Music Awards, a documentary co-directed by Judd Apatow and Michael Bonfiglio, and so much more, this record is one that revealed itself naturally over time.
Recorded in Malibu’s Shangri-La Studios, as well as Nashville, Mar Vista, and the band’s hometown of Concord, NC, The Avett Brothers is a collection of songs seen through a lens of independently studied spirituality; questions and considerations in the interest of the divine unknowable. In an ongoing attempt to comprehend existence and our interpersonal connectedness, these songs seek the sacred in the commonplace: a cheap cup of coffee, the smallest movement of love, broken hearts and school bus lessons, a baby’s first and second steps, growing older and holding on to one’s roots, losing someone and accepting fate, rediscovering hope and finding sanctity in tragedy...ultimately reveling in the fun and surrender of what we cannot understand.
As their first full length release on Ramseur Records/Thirty Tigers since 2007’s Emotionalism, The Avett Brothers is both a cumulative opus and fresh start for the band’s future as a multifaceted and singular force.

Oui, LSF
Frenchkiss RecordsBuy Now A glorious mix of tragedy and comedy — studded with nods to the band’s eclectic musical taste — delightfully weird and utterly them, tripping from ghostly bops to ruminations on love and loss to some seriously debauched and crazy nights. A decade may have passed, but Les Savy Fav is still growing. Jon Muq

Love Hate Music Box
New ElektraBuy Now Produced by Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves) along with Konrad Snyder (Noah Kahan) and frontperson Ela Melo, the much-anticipated album ponders life’s ups and downs, and traces the turbulent trajectory of relationships, painted out loud in hues of pop, electronic, rock, and hip-hop. As such, it finds the musicians at their most vulnerable, vibrant, and vital. Arooj Aftab
Night Reign
VerveBuy Now Mercurial and moody soundscapes are infused with wistful romance in one of the Grammy-winning singer and composer’s most spirited records to date. It’s a perfumed, public garden of renewal, desire, shelter, and love guided by Aftab’s soothing voice – its reach and intensity complementing the sun’s departure. Girl and Girl
Call A Doctor
Sub PopBuy Now Not since the early work of Car Seat Headrest or Bright Eyes has indie rock managed to come across as this intimate and grandiose. The Australian quartet lay a lifetime's worth of woes across a canvas of indie rock that feels both timeless and in-the-moment. Feeling down never sounded so goddamn good. The Marias
Submarine
AtlanticBuy Now Whereas some forms of dream-pop sound unmistakably like winter, the Marías make music for poolsides, afternoons in air conditioning, and glamorous waterfront locales after dark. It’s exquisite music for chilling out: funky, jazzy, loungey, dreamy pop that never lets its atmospheric qualities drift into sleepy nothingness. mxmtoon
The Masquerade
Turtle Girl Records LLCBuy Now This special edition pays homage to the unwavering passion and raw emotion that captured hearts worldwide upon its initial release in 2019. The original album is being released alongside an intimate collection of acoustic recordings, inviting you to rediscover the soulful essence and sardonic wit of the ukulele-toting musical genius. Andra Day
Cassandra (Cherith)
Warner RecordsBuy Now After portraying Billie Holiday onscreen, Day’s soaring voice reaches inward. Andra examines every iteration of love: lost, gained, rekindled, interpersonal, and with "God". She sings about her personal experiences with intense love, gut-wrenching heartbreak, reclamation, and spiritual growth while bringing jazz virtuosity to songs of her own. La Luz
News of the Universe
Sub PopBuy Now Unashamedly vulnerable, unabashedly feminine, and undeniably triumphant, News of the Universe is another knockout record from a band so reliably great, led by an earnest belief in the cosmic power of love and a great riff. This is not groovy indie finery; there’s a rock-as-high-art vision at work here. John Moreland
Visitor
Old Omens/Thirty TigersBuy Now Moreland’s artistic integrity will only allow him to tell the truth, and he’s past the point of false hopes. Still, the music on Visitor is an honest companion, an important presence in the void that presses us to pay attention to what matters most. It’s folk-rock that is intimate, immediate, deeply thoughtful, and catchy as hell. Umbra Vitae
Light of Death
Deathwish Inc.Buy Now Umbra Vitae fit in twice as many ideas than your common or garden death metal band in around half the time. Led by Converge front man Jacob Bannon (as well as members of Hatebreed and The Red Chord),the bandleads listeners down a rip-roaring descent into darkness in this modern metal masterpiece. Jesse Dayton
The Hard Way Blues
Blue Elan RecordsBuy Now Dayton redefines himself once again with The Hard Way Blues, a blues-based rock record produced by Grammy winner Shooter Jennings. Inspired by longtime influences like '70s-era Bob Dylan, Lightnin' Hopkins, and Mance Lipscomb, the album balances some of the sharpest songwriting of Dayton's career with loud guitar riffs and amplified attitude. Young Jesus
The Fool
Saddle CreekBuy Now “You think every day’s the same / But it’s new, and it’s brief, and it takes your breath away,” John Rossiter sings on his new album of gritty indie folk. It’s a fitting for a committed gardener like himself, one who sees the rainy days and the sunny days with equal gratitude and gravity— the sun “like a balloon / sent from Hell / straight to the moon.” Swamp Dogg
Blackgrass: From West Virginia to 125th St
Oh Boy Records/Thirty TigersBuy Now Blackgrass mixes the sacred and the profane in typical Swamp Dogg fashion as it blurs the lines between folk, roots, country, blues, and soul. It’s as reverent as it is raunchy, challenging genre and race while celebrating the music that helped make Swamp Dogg the beloved iconoclast he’s known as today. Anna Tivel
Living Thing
Fluff and Gravy RecordsBuy Now Recorded against a pandemic backdrop Tivel’s eighth album features just her guitar and violin with producer Shane Leonard on everything else. Living Thing ride waves of anxiety, resilience and hope, surfed with her whispering vocals and washes up on a shore that ultimately looks out to the light on the horizon rather than the darkness behind. Fantastic Cat
Now That’s Why I Call Fantastic Cat
Four Quarters RecordsBuy Now Individually, each member boasts their own critical acclaim. Paste declared Don DiLego’s latest album a “stunner.” NPR said Anthony D’Amato “sings and writes in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen or Josh Ritter.” Rolling Stone called Brian Dunne’s new record “the sleeper album of the year” and praised Mike Montali’s band, Hollis Brown, as “the soundtrack for a late-night drive through the American heartland.” Collectively, though, the four transcend their respective roots, emerging as a velvet-clad rock and roll cooperative far greater than the sum of its parts. Frog In Boiling Water
FantasyBuy Now Said to be the bands most collaborative and first fully democratic endeavor, Frog in Boiling Water pushes the bands ethos and breaks new ground in their storied career. Alternative tunings, tape loops, drum samples, the band’s first acoustic-led song, and some of their most striking lyrics yet fill out the album’s edges, and leaves the listener floored. Andrew Bird
Sunday Morning Put-On
Loma VistaBuy Now Featuring nine covers and one original, Sunday Morning Put-On finds Bird making a straightforward jazz album, or at least his version of a straightforward jazz album. His approach to these songs is hardly radical, but he understands their beauty and finds his own way of bringing it out while reminding us just how quietly brilliant Andrew Bird can be. -
