This arrived quickly, looks like the picture. It works well and looks great after a month in the pool. I appreciate the peace of mind knowing that there won't be any more unpleasant surprises in my pool.
Thanks, my 2 frogs logs arrived today. I already have 2, bought quite a few years ago, and one is a little beat up. So these new ones are great to have.
It’s peace of mind to know we can go out to the pool in the morning, with few worries about drowned critters.
We think it’s only right to buy the ramps from the inventor, and because our original ones have held up so well, we’re confident these new ones will too.
Thank-you—and I’m sure the chipmunks in our yard would say thanks, too, if they could.
Seems to work. Have not had any frogs or lizards caught i. The skimmers since using the frog log.
I’ve had Frog Logs for years, in two states. We needed it more in Pennsylvania, since our pool was at the edge of a wooded area and not covered as the one is where we live now, but we still use one for the little critters that make their way in to our lanai.
I set three frog logs along our pool and spa and these have been the safe pads for many frogs, lizards and even a snake. Lives have been saved! These are a must have for anyone with a pool.
Within a few months of putting in a new in-ground pool at our home in Northern NSW we had a lot of wet weather and found to our dismay that our new pool was becoming a death trap for various species of native frogs. Lured to our pool, they were unable to climb out via the overhanging coping and consequently drowned. Noxious and non-native cane toads were also being attracted to it, but (sadly) did not drown and had to be fished out and disposed of. Since installing two frog logs, there have been no more drownings or sightings of frogs (or toads), which we hope means that the frog logs are providing very welcome escape routes for native and exotic amphibians.
