Part-time Sales Advisor 16 Hours – Started on 21 November 1994 ➡️ Commenced onto Assistant Store Manager on 23 September 1996 until September 2017 ➡️ Current Job Role as Store Manager 👏🏻

FAVOURITE MEMORY WORKING AT MENARYS:
I have lots of great memories over the years but in particular to be part of the team in the past to be involved in new store openings in different towns in previous years North + South of Ireland and see Menarys expand over the years and gain the experience to particpate with it outside my normal job role.
I have still some great friendships made with the amazing people I worked with on these projects from ensembling a shell of a building into an amazing store for the towns and cities and what it would mean to that area to see Menarys expanding onto their doorsteps and of course the finished results the last day and the opening the delight of the team and new friends made always brings a smile thinking back how did that happen in such a short time within a week usually! 😁
FAVOURITE MENARYS PRODUCT PAST OR PRESENT:
Believe it or not the shoe department 😆
This product supports the steps put into a day and without comfortable footwear you are not going far 😅 those shoes were made for walking comes to mind!🚶♀️
I feel it is a department Menarys now excel in, lots of great styles choices and value is always available and a winner to me… 💪
IF YOU HAD TO MOVE TO ANOTHER STORE/ DEPARTMENT WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Hmmmm my happy place is at Menarys Limavady I am passionate about the store and my team as we celebrate 30 years in business this year on 25 november 2024.
I am the only remaining member of staff that started when the doors opened on 25 November 1994 at 12.00 noon we were running an hour late that morning 11pm was the original opening time and the queues up the street was amazing to see the rapour then and to now would lead me to think of the role I have done in the past as a support manager to several stores in the past years...
Getting the chance to be support manager to several stores North + South was enjoyable working with different teams and locations and the experiece of meeting Menarys lovely customers in all the different towns as these are the most loyal customers and it is so appreciated if I had to choose I think this would be the area definitely!
Meeting so many lovely people along the way and building good relationships and friendships for years to come that support each other a good example of this in Menarys is the Coleraine team. It is like one big team as both stores work closely together 🤝💜
May I also take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support over the 30 years Limavady store has been in business and also the fab team now and previous team members and not forgetting the lovely loyal customers who for years have supported the store by shopping local and becoming friends along the way which has made 30 great years of Menarys Limavady happen …all very much appreciated! 💜💜💜
