UFLI Aligned

This alignment tool is meant for UFLI Foundations instructors who would like to expand their decodable text library by incorporating Whole Phonics decodable books. Through this instructional alignment, the Whole Phonics books can be read in order, starting at Lesson 20, and will be 100% decodable.

Whole Phonics in Action

The Whole Phonics™ program consists of five levels. The first three levels each contain fifteen decodable readers dedicated to a specific phonetic element and new sight word(s). Every new reader builds on the sounds presented in the prior readers. Workbook pages, games and supplemental activities accompany each reader.

What is Off We Go?

Off We Go! is our beginning to read series designed to teach students the consonants and short vowels. It is perfect for pre-k and kindergarten students! With only 7 consonants and the short a vowel sound, students will have access to stories with a complete narrative arc.

Learn More about Off We Go!

Systematic phonics instruction makes a more significant contribution to children’s growth in reading than do alternative programs providing unsystematic or no phonics instruction.

National Reading Panel

Kids struggle to read when schools leave phonics out.

Why Phonics?

There is a nearly 90% probability that a child will remain a poor reader at the end of fourth grade if he/she is a poor reader at the end of first grade.
