Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax
Now is the time to prepare for the 2024 Hurricane Season! The 2024 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holidays will take place Saturday, June 1 through Friday, June 15, and Saturday, August 24 through Friday, September 6. Have your home, family and pets ready before disaster strikes.
Martin County Branches Out for Hurricane Preparedness
Prevent storm debris by preparing your property for hurricane season (June 1 – Nov. 30). Let’s get it done before June 1! You can help reduce a storm’s impact by cutting back trees and vegetation that could damage your home and property. All major vegetation projects should be completed before the start of hurricane season.
Water Wisely! Help Protect our Water Resources
Did you know that Martin County has year-round landscape irrigation conservation measures in place? These measures limit landscaping and lawn irrigation in unincorporated Martin County to two days a week and include restrictions on times watering is allowed. Help protect our water resources and ecosystems for future generations!
