* A 20% discount is offered for 1st Responders, Nurses, Teachers, Veterans and active Military members. Please advise the staff when you check in if you qualify for one of these groups. This discount applies to the qualifying individual only and is not applicable to a group.

* A 10% discount is offered to customers coming from Luks Restaurant (located in the same Plaza) upon presenting a Luks receipt from the same day.

Unique to Southern NH, Axe Play is one of a kind! Stop by and have some fun! For your convenience we offer an online reservation screen and digital waivers to make sure you are all set before you arrive.

As we’ve become more established (we opened August 1, 2020), it has become more important to make reservations. We still welcome walk ins but the truth is, it’s getting harder to accommodate them, especially on the weekends. So if you’d like to come throw axes here (and we definitely want you to) we are asking you to make a reservation. You can do this either online from our reservation tab or call 603-809-9081 and we can take care of it over the phone. We want to serve all our customers and the best way to do that is to reserve a lane in advance.

The following are some of our most frequently asked questions. Hopefully they will answer yours but if not, feel free to contact us and one of our staff of Axeperts will be happy to help you.

FAQs

Do I need to make a reservation?	Reservations are not necessary but they are the best way to guarantee space for your group.
How many lanes do I need?	Each lane in our facility consists of 2 targets and a table for up to 10 people. If you have a group larger than 10, please select an additional lane, which will provide you an additional table and 2 more targets.
What is the minimum age?	We offer special family hours for you and your children but we limit it to ages 10+. We DO NOT allow infants in the facility beyond their guardians coming in to “check it out”.
How long is my reservation for?	Reservations are made in 1 hour increments. If you would like more than 1 hour, you just reserve the lanes at additional times in our on-line reservation system or call us and we can do it over the phone. We do not do 1/2 hour reservations. Also…your reservation starts at the time you choose so if you’re late, that unfortunately comes out of your time.
How long should I book for?	It’s easy for me to spend other people’s money so you need to make this decision. I will share my experience to help you make your decision though. An hour goes by pretty fast when you’re having fun so for larger groups (6+) we would recommend you do 2 hours. Again, this is up to you.
What’s the deal with BYOB and Food?	We are a Bring Your Own Beverages facility. Whether that’s a tasty drink from The Vibe next door or shots of your favorite adult beverage (must be of legal drinking age and we will verify by ID). You can also bring in or have delivered whatever food you would like.
How Dangerous is this?	These are real axes so by nature there is some danger. You will be required to complete a liability waiver. With that being said, you will be taught by our well trained Axematicians to do this activity in a safe and successful manner. We also have a zero tolerance safety policy so if you or a member of your group are acting in an unsafe manner, become intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, that person will be leaving.
Can I bring my own Axe?	Absolutely….bring your “axe” on in here. If your hatchet meets the World Axe Throwing League’s rules then yes you most certainly can use it. Those rules are as follows: 14-19″ long. Blade length of 4″ or less. 3lbs total weight. Can not be double sided
What are you spraying on the boards?	We spray the boards with water and Thieves cleaner in order to reduce splitting of the boards and to help the axes stick a little easier.
How often do you change the boards?	We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best throwing experience possible so we replace our boards fairly regularly. Approximately 50-60 boards per week. We use poplar for our 3 center boards and stacks of our used ones are available behind our facility for anyone who needs some bonfire wood.
Do you have leagues	Yes we do!! They’re a blast and you do not have to be an expert or Axepert to join and have fun. Check out our league page to learn more ( https://axe-play.com/league-night/ )
What happens if I make a reservation but then fail to show, call or cancel on line?	It’s simple. Call and cancel so we can open the lanes to others. We are a small business and this is actually a pretty popular activity and more people want to do it then we have lanes for most days. By just blowing off your reservation, you hurt the small business. Thanks for not being that person in advance.
