Baron Rudolf Jocelyn Heinrich William Oscar von Vollmar auf Veltheim: March 1956 - 14 May 2024.

Ru, as he was known to his Brindisa family and most others, has died at the age of 68 after a brief illness.

We share this news with deep sadness. 

With a heart as big as the globe itself Ru, for over 35 years, has stood by us all - his Brindisa family past and present,  his dear friends of ever, his family and all his professional friends across Britain, Spain and beyond.

Loved by so many, Ru touched us all with his charm, wit, kindness, intellect and unstinting commitment to all those he loved.

Ru's spirit, passion and determination to build the nascent Brindisa in the 90s were an inspiration to us all and it continues today.

We cannot thank you enough Ru.

We miss you so much already. 

You will always be with us.

Rest well.
