Eco did a great job shipping my kayak there was no damage I’m just getting into kayak fishing. I weigh 270 pounds. I purchased the old town big water PDL.132 hoping it could carry my weight and it does easily the kayak is more stable than I expected, and the seat is comfortable. It is a heavy kayak if you wanna put it on overhead racks, but there are ways to do it. I just slide mine in the truck bed with a kayak extender on the receiver hitch, I really enjoy my kayak

My husband and I each bought a Sportsman's PDL 106 to replace our pontoon boats. We were hoping to be able to maneuver more easily and move through water with less effort and rowing. WOW, did these kayaks deliver! The PDL is a game changer and having reverse is now something I don't want to live without. Wind is no longer a factor for us and moving through the water is effortless now. The seats are comfortable enough to fish a full day without back strain, stability is excellent, I can stand and cast if needed. The tracks are great for attaching fish finders, go pro, etc. and the cut outs on each side perfectly fit fly boxes.

Several weeks back I ordered a kayak from Eco. I was unable to track it and got the runaround by the shipper so I decided to go to the terminal and get my kayak when it arrived.
The kayak appeared to be wrapped with cardboard and plastic, and was sitting on the floor of the warehouse next to the loading dock. Upon closer inspection, I seen that there was damage to the hull on the left side. Obvious heavy equipment, damage, forklift, or pallet jack or something. No need to have heavy equipment anywhere around a kayak anyway, I did not accept. Eco was very quick in refunding my money. I do not approve of the way they ship, but I do not blame them that happens a lot when shipping plastic boats. I re-ordered a hobie, And purposely made the drive to go pick it up at the nearest reseller. That’s the best solution.

Love the extra speed to get where I need to go. After the installation, it look like it was built for the AutoPilot 120. Together with the hand steering make this system a must have for the extra speed. The Minn Kota is way too slow but added with the NK300 my kayak is now the “Beast”

The NK180 moves my PA14 without any issues. I use it mostly in salt water rivers with decent current and plenty of wake producing boating traffic. It pushes through everything that’s thrown at it and gets me to my favorite spots quickly and dependably. Efficient, too. Never kills the battery even when I run 80% or more a bunch. 24v 50ah will get you plenty of time and distance on the water. Go with 100ah and you’ll be out there until you need another shave. I’d recommend this motor to anyone looking to add some power to their kayak, even the sizeable/heavier ones.

Thanks to the EcoFishing team for some great service and communication. The Boonedox Groovy Landing Gear is all I hoped it would be. Easy install on my HobiePA and it makes transporting sooooo much easier. The product is lightweight and very sturdy and the PA14 tests it well. Thanks again EcoFishingShop, for helping me make kayak angling an even better experience every time out.
