Airflow is detrimental to the treatment process as hair follicles thrive on oxygen for proper circulation. Without proper circulation, LLLT is not nearly as effective and ultimately defeats the overall purpose of using LLLT for hair growth. Due to this design flaw, laser devices that do not have an air vent lack the proper ventilation needed to provide effective treatments. Both of our devices, the Professional and Essential, are both equipped with an air vent located on the top of the device to permit airflow.

#2 Exposure: 
Exposure of diodes that emit red-light at wavelengths of approximately ~678nm is crucial for effectively stimulating blood flow to the scalp. In addition, it's important to have sufficient surface area coverage of emitted red-light - this is achieved by securing a LLLT device with higher diode counts. This is why we offer device options with up to 272 diodes, our Professional Edition.
