Renter and all drivers must have a valid and original driver’s license which must be presented at the time of pick-up. All drivers with a non-US driver’s license must present a valid Passport or a valid government-issued ID card as a secondary form of identification at the time of vehicle pick-up.

Certain rules regarding minimum age to rent a car (or a certain group of car) and minimum driving time may apply during the booking process. In general, the minimum age to rent a car is 21 and the driver must have a valid driver’s license for at least one year. For some car categories and models (larger size and/or power cars) a minimum rental age of 25 years may apply.

Yes . We do not require a deposit on the credit card , just a card to register in our system for possible traffic fines if any .

The common practice of rental companies in the USA is to deliver vehicles to the lessee with a full tank of fuel, and the customer is offered the option of pre-paying for the first tank of fuel or of filling the tank at the gas station of their choice before departure. vehicle return.   • In the United States, traffic tickets are issued against the offender’s driver’s license and not the license plate. Traffic fines are the customer’s responsibility for both traffic and parking.
  • In the United States, the only documentation referring to the rented vehicle that the lessee will receive from the rental company will be the rental agreement.   • If it is necessary to activate the insurance, the LESSEE is responsible for a deductible of only $700.00 for the rented vehicle. For sports cars ( mustang / camaro / corvette / Maserati / porsche or similar ) $1500.00 deductible in the event of an accident. CDW and LDW insurance does not cover the following costs: Damage due to running and cracking Cracked/broken windshields Damage from war, revolution, civil unrest Burnt on benches, carpets or rugs Damage affecting only tires, wheels, suspension, sound systems, or loss of vehicle parts from theft and damage resulting from these Damage caused to the transmission, wheels, and parts attached to the chassis of vehicles, by driving on rough roads Damage resulting from driving in places where vehicle traffic is prohibited, such as trails, snowbanks, ice, rivers without bridges or streams, beaches, places accessible only at low tide, or other areas without roads. Damage caused by sand, gravel, ash or other types of earth material being blown over the vehicle. If the vehicle is transported by sea, no compensation will be paid for damage caused by sea/salt water. Damage caused by not using correct fuel lost keys In our reservations , all our cars will be covered by CDW / Third Party insurance . For your safety, this is the best way to hire our services.
  • Extensions. All payments for extensions are due before 12pm (noon) of due date, or late fees will be applied to payment.
  • NO Smoking.  Any smoke stench, residue, or ashes are prohibited in all vehicles. This will result in a fine of $150-$200, that may be surcharged or collected from initial deposit.
  • NO Pets. Any pet stench, urine/bowel, hair. and/or hair are prohibited in all vehicles. This will result in a fine of $150-$200, that may be surcharged or collected from initial deposit. 
  • Cleaning. Return vehicle in the same cleanliness condition received, or cleaning fees of up to $150 will be applied.
  • Updated Photos are required while renting, to ensure the vehicle is in the same condition as received. These photos are also used to ensure that there are no newly discovered damages to the vehicles.
  • NO Gas Shortage. The vehicle must be returned with the same gas level as received upon pick-up. If the gas does not reflect the same amount, this will subject to a $75 fine that will be applied.

*Note: Before and After photos on file will be examined for all fees.

All rental drivers are required to have Full Coverage Insurance along with our insurance policy, rated as low as $9 per day. If you are currently uninsured we will provide all drivers with temporary insurance at a low rate of $25 per day.

If person not listed as an insured driver is found operating the vehicle, the renter assumes full liability for their actions.

Coverage

Should any incidents occur while operating in a Slide vehicle during rental agreement, please submit a police report immediately for requested claim to be covered by insurance. However, if a report is not filed with the police immediately after incident took place to ensure coverage, the renter(s) will be responsible for the full cost of damages charged from incident when returned.

*Note: All persons driving the rental vehicle must be insured, and may not share insurance coverage if not listed under the contract agreement. Not having Full Coverage Insurance will not affect our approval decision.

Our required upfront rental deposit ranges from $150 to $200, depending on the vehicle rented and your drivers history. Deposits are fully refundable once the vehicle is inspected upon return. When refunded deposits, please allow 2-10 business days to reflect on your account. All fines and/or fees incurred during trip may be taken from your initial deposit.

  • Rebookings will be made gradually, in order of arrival of the customer on their destination. The service is free of charge,  but your car rental is subject to the new availability of the car on the new date and if there is a fare difference, it will be passed on. There are 5 toll collection systems in Florida.  These 5 systems can work separately or at the same time at a toll point, which make it harder to be understanding and complicates life of unsuspecting tourists. To better understand, read bellow. 

SunPass: The famous SunPass is the equivalent of the well-known Sem Parar / Via Fácil  in Brazil. With a “sticker” that can be glued to the window of the car or not, the driver can skip the tolls and the collection arrives at home at the end of the month.

EPass: A system similar to SunPass, but much less comprehensive. Despite this, it is present on an important road that cuts through Orlando, the Beachline Expressway (SR 528), which runs from the city to Cape Canaveral and passes through, for example, the airport.

PlatePass / EToll / TollPass / HTA: these systems, also known as “toll-by-plate”, came to cover those who didn’t want to be walking around with various “devices” glued to the windshield like the EPass and SunPass. They work as follows: when passing through the lanes dedicated to automatic charging (including the two systems: SunPass and EPass) the toll booth takes a picture of the sign and sends the toll bill straight to the rental company. The charge is made on the deposit card that you left when you picked up the vehicle. Of course, if your rental company offers these systems and you don’t go through the automatic billing range, you won’t be charged anything later

Report any accidents, theft, or damages to the authorities immediately, then contact MCO Rent a Car as soon as possible!

  • A police report at the time of the incident is required in order for any damage claim to be covered by CDW.
  • Contact MCO Rent a Car during normal business hours 7:30am – 5:30pm to report any roadside assistance issues. For any issues that were taken care of by the renter after hours, please keep all receipts (with proof of maintenance to vehicle owned by MCO Rent a Car) and contact us as soon as possible to receive compensation.
  • *Registration, roadside, and insurance information are located in the glove compartment of the rental vehicle.
  • *Smoking is absolutely prohibited in ALL MCO Rent a Car vehicles, and will result in a $300 surcharge fine with the loss of rental privileges.
  • *Mileage is limited on most contracts (Please see rental agreement for details). For any additional questions concerning mileage, be sure to ask the rental agent for details. NO UNAUTHORIZED DRIVERS operating any MCO Rent a Car vehicles, or this will result in a fine.)
  • Any tampering or removal of any electrical or physical attachments on MCO Rent a Car vehicles will be fined and reported instantly. A fine of up to $250 will be charged.
