Every October, tens of thousands of kindred spirits gather in the Mojave Desert to participate in an awe-inspiring communal ceremony called RISE.
RISE is an immersive, three-part festival blending art, music, and light into a magical and elevating experience.
Everyone receives two lanterns upon which we write our hopes, dreams, fears, and intentions. And twice per night, we light and let go.
It’s a collective art project, a moment to behold, and the centerpiece of our festival…
Three Spaces of Rise
The ART WALK
A spacious exploration of art and meditation on the strikingly beautiful Jean Dry Lake Bed.
The Compass
The breathtaking site of our collective artistic expression – the World’s Largest Sky Lantern Ceremony.
The Horizon
This is where we DANCE — an extraordinary venue, and an epic setting for a transcendent party in the desert.
