Works great, a place to keep the stakes together and prevent them from poking holes in my carry bag.
The ground tarps are heavy duty and really nice. I purchased two. One to go under the tent and one to go inside the tent. The flooring inside the tent is very durable and doesn’t need any help, I just purchased the Second tarp to use inside the tent as a precaution.
Could not believe how easy it was to set up can’t wait to start using it
This tent is wonderful! Easy to set up! I’m 64 and I can set it up in about 20 minutes with no problem! Would be better for 2 to handle because it weighs 50lbs. I have a Springbar Outfitter that is perfect for me and my dog but, the Family Camper is way better for 2 people (we have large dogs). The door being off-center works great for creating a roomier sleep area. Springbar’s quality and support for their customers is why I’m willing to spend more.
Once you figure out setup, it’s a breeze. High quality materials, including the ground stakes. Love the spaciousness and giant windows. Waterproof. Hoping with good care it lasts a long time. We camp a lot spring through fall, happy to have a fantastic tent after years of the cheaper ones.
I live In Utah. Growing up my Dad had the first original springbar tent from springbar as there headquarters are made here. . Lots of amazing camping 🏕 memories in this tent was essential item in our load out as it houses all of us on all of our adventures. We sold it when we became teenagers. Now that I'm older and love camping i purchased the new edition o.d green model. It was shipped super fast. It arrived in a well made box with nice finish logo instructions items listed inside. And also snagged a ground tarp. 10x10 as the footprint of the tent. After arriving I set it up. Open the door flap as it sucks in air or impossible to pole up. Each side. It's simple fast. And love the color apart of me wants to buy the tan one for west desert 🏜 camping. Hunting fishing. As my dad seen My new tent. All those memories came flooding back. And was stoked to go camping again with my young boys.with there grandpa. As he did with his dad. Learning the way of outdoors freedom and fresh air. Nature is amazing world..when you have the right gear. When you can stand upright to get dressed plenty of room. I put down moving blankets make it great.inside or a big rug. Plenty warm. I'm waiting for a rain sun fly camp to add this as I like the military theme. So for the money my dad has his tent almost 20 years. Oh hard use cold hunting season. And rain snow mornings and always was dry warm happy. So it's not only a tent. It becomes home 🏡 camp. Apart of the family. So thanks springbar for tons of amazing memories camping across utah growing up and looking forward to many more years of use.
Top quality. This bag stands up on its own as advertised and is solid! Very nice and very handy.
I bought two of these and have been pleased thus far. I like the bucket bottom much better that typical grocery bags which don't stand up on their own. This bag is sturdy and stands on it's own. The bag is made with the same craftsmanship as the tents, so I suspect it will hold up for many years to come.
Have not been able to use it but the quality is as advertised. Can’t wait to get it out
Haven’t use it yet but I’m sure there will be no issues.
Although I have not yet been able to go camping, I have set the tent up in my yard for the first time. The Skyliner screams quality and durability everything I was looking for. I was told before purchasing, that a Stormfly would soon be available to purchaser for the Skyliner. I hope so because it will be very helpful in keeping the Canvas dry. My biggest concern when making the decision to purchase a Canvas tent was moisture. Please make a good Stormfly for this Tent.
Tarp is thick and sturdy. Just slightly larger than the bottom of the tent, which is perfect.
It's perfect for car camping/overlanding. Heavy so definitely not recommended if you have to do a hike to your spot. Beautiful and great quality fun to set up and super spacious. I love it and would get ab=nother springbar in a heartbeat.
I really enjoy the tent so far. The quality is amazing. The only thing missing is a strap on the carrying tent and poll bag.
I bought mine in 1997 and have used it more times than I can count. Just got home from camping in Southern Utah and it performed perfectly, as always. The strong winds (gusting over 30mph) barely budged the tent.
Over the nearly 30 years I have had the tent, the only thing I have had to do is replace a couple poles/stakes (my fault!) and fix a screen tear. Never been a drop of water inside and we have had heavy rain and a couple of inches of snow on the tent.
Suggestion: Get a door mat or rug to wipe your feet on the way in and pick up a cheap area rug (5x7 or 8x10 or so). It's so nice to have carpeting inside. And do not put away wet. You can bring it home wet, but then lay it out in your garage or driveway.
