Re tanking of the old garage pit today , I think the guy who put it in had bigger cars 😆 tyres are about 75mm a side clearance . #tadclose #garagepit
Sun's out so bus driver today as porsche is a bit poorly and hopefully fixing it tomorrow . Speedo drive went pop and now I've done 600miles in it it's tine for oil and tappet check time .
Love a plating delivery . 5mm thick 205mm pcd 12mm hole wheel spacers . Also clutch stop plates for porsche 912 911 pedal boards . So hopefully should have boards for sale soon .
912 back together , no idea if replaced trailing arm is better than the one I took off , but its on the road again .
Bug has been awesome to drive around in as my daily motor and even to go on holiday with . So I think it could be a 3 car classic year this year . Roll on magnificent motors tomorrow, off home to pack shorts wellies raincoats and budgie smugglers .
Daily motor is having a break , so it's take your classic to work everyday time , estate cars are much better for collecting laser cut steel items from the cutters , but it did it .

912 911 trolley jack bar . Slots into older style Jack's with the easy removable centre , the allen key bolt heads locate into the 2 holes in the front suspension mounts . To the tiny young girl that took a tiny mini Polaroid of my car at Volksworld , this is awesome thank you . Probably not see this but it's great , she was so chuffed to give it to the owner , warranted a Pink sticker in return .
"J" Tube bolt on tabs , these are used to link the "J" tubes to the under pushrod tinware . Allows for more rigid mounting of industrial tinware . Or just weld n dome tabs , please be aware the zinc plating may burn off over time . Could be painted in exhaust paint , will go the same as the j tubes themselves . Little fiddly to fit , open up clamp , push over j tube and refit bolt .

Semi mad rush to get the 912 ready for a road trip to @volksworldshow this Saturday , 1 step forward and several back , but can see the light , fitted new aluminium pedal boards , tweek with accelerator pedal and carbs then another run later today should nail it .

Oh yes the day of reckoning, its out of its cave once again . Bug swapped , so expect torrential rain soon .
Bit closer to fitting this anti rain engine bay thing . Also possibly looking at doing an aluminium version as these seem to become very brittle , being plastic . Needed the aluminium standoffs/mounts , so ticked them off and now to get m5 grb screws and some new m5 eyebolt bits , then good to go . #912registry #912porsche #912swb #912outlaw #912club
