Fist time out on Cortez Deep Sea Fishing. The day Dec. 19th was perfect. The Staff was excellent, worked hard to make the day great and catch fish. You will not go wrong taking your family and friends on this day out fishing. They tell you to bring a cooler with your drinks and things to eat. The provide bait, ice for your fish and will take your fish off for you. We went out at 8am and returned at 2. If you catch you can also have some cooked at the Seafood Shack Restaurant right at the dock for a fee. I have many photos and videos of the trip on my Flickr account album.

We had to rebook, went out the next day, we caught lots of fish and 10 to 12 lb red grouper had to throw him back due to the season being called, Kevin the first mate was great, Arline was very accommodating, we tried to go again that week but wasn't able to get out, great time, great price will do again.

From check in to return it was a great trip. Lots of details shared prior and on the website to help us prep for the day. The crew was fantastic at helping everyone. The captain would move the boat quickly when the fish weren't biting or they were small. Recommend and we will go again. Fishing was good and brought home plenty.

One of the best days of our vacation. We booked the Mattanza (smaller boat) with a max of 11 people. It was definitely worth a little extra and still a fantastic price per person. The boat was very clean with plenty of room for fishing and an endless supply of bait. Captain Chuck and Steve put us on the fish all day long. They were friendly and attentive to everyone onboard. They will fillet your catch and bag it for the ride home. We highly recommend making this adventure part of your vacation.
